Both Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham are set to welcome back important line leaders when Spurs host the Hammers in the Premier League on Saturday. The news out of West Ham is that striker Diafra Sakho is set a return to the West Ham squad after missing the entire first part of the season with injury.

Sakho enjoyed a bright start to life at West Ham last season, but missed three months with a hamstring injury and never really regained his form upon his return. He was nearly sold in the offseason to West Bromwich Albion, but a back injury foiled those plans and has kept him out of the West Ham side until now.

Since then it’s been striker by committee, with Andy Carroll (also out with a knee injury), Andre Ayew, Simone Zaza, and even Michail Antonio starting up top for Slaven Bilic’s men. The Hammers have struggled thus far in the Premier League and are currently seventeenth in the table.

West Ham are also expected to have central defender Winston Reid, who was linked with a move to Spurs in recent windows, and left back Arthur Masuaku available for selection against Tottenham.

Spurs welcome back Harry Kane for his second start since injuring his ankle against West Brom earlier in the season, but will be without Toby Alderweireld, Erik Lamela, and Ben Davies.

Now, who wants to bet that Sakho scores against us tomorrow?
