Monaco vs. Tottenham Hotspur: Community Player Ratings

Playing football in Europe has pretty much sucked for Tottenham Hotspur this year and matches against Monaco have been particularly bad. Spurs traveled to the Stade Louis II to face the principality club and came back with a 2-1 defeat and their tails between their legs.

The loss, coupled with Leverkusen’s point against CSKA, means Spurs can’t advance to the knockout rounds and, depending on the result of next week’s match against CSKA, Spurs might not even drop down to the Europa League (which may or may not be good).

Spurs’ miserable results have many, including Pochettino, questioning the depth and quality of the Tottenham squad, which is not exactly the ideal position to be in heading into the busy holiday season.
