Thursday Hoddle of Coffee: In Which We Don’t Talk About Spurs, November 3, 2016

The Cubs won the freaking World Series. So let’s just ignore the Wembley dumpster fire for a day, huh?

It’s now midnight local time here in Nebraska. I’ve spent the past five hours watching the best baseball game I’ve ever seen. Over in the Carty Free writers room I’m pretty sure the Cubbie fans amongst us are completely drunk and the rest are trying to figure out what cursed thing Theo Epstein can fix next. (My vote: Spurs Director of Football)

We’ll talk about yesterday’s loss later today or tomorrow. I’m going to try and talk Ben Daniels off his Anti-Poche cliff. But for now, I’m going to pretend yesterday’s disaster didn’t happen.
