Do you ever get the feeling that the universe hates you and all your favorite things? Midway through the first half of the international friendly between the Netherlands and Belgium, Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen, starting for the Dutch, was subbed off with an apparent head injury after he was clattered by a punch from Belgium and Liverpool keeper Simon Mignolet.
Vincent Janssen has been taken off less than half-an-hour into Netherlands' match against Belgium with an apparent knock #thfc

Here’s a video for those of you who are curious. Apologies for the dumb music in the background... beggars can’t be choosers here.
Ouch. The replay looks like Mignolet came out for a contested ball and just plowed straight through Vincent. That doesn’t look good at all. Janssen apparently looked like he might be okay, but then was reportedly quite groggy and when subbed off went off the field and straight down the tunnel.
The good news for Spurs is that Harry Kane is now back in the frame to start matches, so if Vincent has to miss any time we have our Big Dog back. But, as a counterpoint, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
I also found out that Jan Vertonghen just conceded a penalty for Belgium. Ban international football. Today is the most trash day ever.
