Tottenham Hotspur are unbeaten in their last one Premier League games. Doesn’t quite have the same ring to it as our earlier unbeaten run, but these things have to start somewhere.
Pochettino made some changes to his lineup against Hull, rolling out a 3-4-2-1 (or 3-4-3, whatever) formation that he hadn’t really used before. It worked well as Spurs consistently got runners in behind Hull’s defense and managed to take an early lead and then mostly coast the rest of the way.
There were plenty of good performances from Spurs in this match. Christian Eriksen scored a brace; Victor Wanyama scored, which based on last week would seem like a total miracle; and Moussa Sissoko was actually good-ish.
