Let’s talk about our favorite/worst company Christmas party stories.

Tonight my wife and I are going to my company’s Christmas party. Which raises an obvious and potentially terrifying question: What are your best/worst company Christmas party stories?

This will only be the fourth such party I’ve ever been to so I haven’t accumulated much in the way of stories yet, sadly. Last year’s party consisted of gorging myself on meat at the Brazilian steakhouse where we had it, hearing my coworkers make plagiarism jokes at my expense (long story), and then slipping out early to see the new Star Wars. Like I said... nothing special as of yet.

So, what stories do you have?

One soccer note before getting to the links: Manchester United goes to West Brom to play the Fightin’ Pulises (Fightin’ Pooli?) this weekend. It wouldn’t be a shock for them to drop points. Manchester City and Arsenal also face off at the Etihad, and on Monday there’s a Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park. It’s entirely possible that United, City, Arsenal, and Liverpool will drop points this weekend.

So the Burnley fixture is massive simply because this is a weekend where the fixture list is very kind to us and we need to capitalize. Three points this weekend would be huge.

This Kilpatrick piece on Pochettino’s 3-4-2-1 is helpful.

Barça Blaugranes featured an interesting video with Neymar about his time at Barcelona.

Don’t miss Michael Caley’s piece on RB Leipzig.
