It’s Christmas Day today. This is a day that is meant to be spent with friends and family, where possible, and that’s exactly what I plan to do.
There are precious few days in the calendar year where I can completely ignore this website, which I love dearly, and put all of my attention on spending time with my family. The reality of running a vibrant and popular soccer blog is that you ALWAYS have one eye on the news to see what’s going on in the world of Tottenham Hotspur and are prepared to nip off if needed and do a quick write-up, or cover a match, or throw together some opinions.
But not today. It’s Christmas, and that’s important to me too. There are no Premier League matches today. I don’t expect any important Tottenham news. Nonetheless, this is your open thread. This is a wonderful community. I expect that some of you may need this space for conversation, discussion, and camaraderie. It’s here if you want it or need it.
I love this blog, I love Tottenham Hotspur, and I love the vibrant collection of people that make it what it is. So from my house to yours, Happy/Merry Christmas, happy Hannukah, happy Kwanzaa, and joyous Festivus. I wish you joy and peace today. And thanks, as always, for reading.
