Harry Kane made a Spurs fan (and his grandson) happy today with a surprise phone call. Kane popped onto the Spurs Shop phones to give a personal call to a random fan who ordered a Harry Kane Tottenham Hotspur jersey, and the results were captured by Spurs TV.
But that’s not what we thought when we first saw this Instagram photo, so we came up with a few creative captions of our own first.
- “Hello, I'm Mr. Kane phoning from Bank of Levy Insurance. I've got a health care deal that'll leave you proper buzzing.”
- “Good morning, we noticed what looks like some unauthorized access to your Turfies account."
- “Hi! This is Harry from Card Member Services, calling about your credit card account”
- “Yes, good evening, I’m calling wondering if you’d be willing to donate to Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice on behalf of website Cartilage Free Captain. It’s a contest, see.”
- “Leicester City 9-9-9, do you have a relegation emergency?”
- "Thanks for booking a room at Hotspur Inn and Suites. Have a buzzing day!"
- “Who is this? Dog, is that you?”
- "No, I'm a real human. This is not a robo call. Ma'am, please, I'm just trying to meet my monthly sales target for these Sissoko bobbleheads."
- "What I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.”
- "Well, my name is Harry and I'm wearing a jumper. Thanks for asking!"
- “Siri, where’s the nearest Nando’s?” <dialtone> “I didn’t get that. Siri, where’s ‘nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn Street?’” <dialtone>
- And finally:
