Happy Wednesday, Spursland!
All is good in this space again as nobody picked up injury or admitted to wanting to jump ship for more money. Never underestimate the axiom that during a championship run no news is good news. Take these following fluff pieces and obvious conjecture that the ship at Tottenham is not rocking, the captain has the ship sailing directly where he intended.
We are thoroughly boring off the pitch for the first time in years, and it's a wonderful thing.
And now for the "news":
Hugo has his say about how effective our rotation has been.
Once prince, now dastardly outcast, Nabil Bentaleb hit a nice half volley in the game against Southampton's youth squad. Normally, we could poo poo this goal, but Saint's U21s are probably better than Aston Villa. Welcome back, Nabs!
He hasn't. If we are debating the merits of a 21 year old Nabil Bentlaleb's place in the current squad, then we surely shouldn't be debating a 22 year old Kevin Stewart's. Thank god Liverpool's scouting network was vast and cultured enough to pick him up, though.
This video is a living manifestation of banter. Dele Alli has assuredly bookmarked the appropriate videos.
