Happy Tuesday, Spursland!
I think it's time for an old fashioned poll. We need to cut through the bull**** and deal with the pressing topics of the day. What's a worse take: a) Josh Onomah wasn't good on Sunday or b) losing in the cups is a good thing?
The cheeky part of my brain wanted to call today "Terrible Take Tuesday" but even I thought it was cheesy after one second of consideration.
The questions may seem mean spirited towards those who may actually believe those things, but that isn't my intent. I'd like to see people explaining why they hold these opinions despite probable pushback. Beliefs unchallenged are seldom worthwhile beliefs after all, and it always makes for good conversation.
And now for the "news":
Fulham star still on Levy's radar| Squawka
The new Dembele should take the number 38 shirt in honor of the first one wearing the number 19 shirt, and also because people would adore him even if he's a little bit crap from time to time but seems to try hard.
Swansea skipper could change the team shape again| South Wales Evening Post
It's nice that Swansea have had two weeks off to consider the realities of being pummeled while employing two wingers or a midfield diamond.
Sousa hails Tottenham's "technical, tactical, and physical" quality| Tuttomercato
He also says he was happy with la Viola's performance, showed the lads were up for it. If you don't like my abridged translation, well then, you go and learn to read Italian.
There is no good replacement for LVG at United| The Busby Babe
I think Harry Redknapp is really the overlooked answer here. Come on, Woodward, do it.
