Happy Monday, Spursland!
The boys on Wheeler Dealer Radio took their swipes at Ben Daniels yesterday due to his dislike for a certain Tottenham left back. I was not their to poke our lovable, curmudgeonly, podcast sidekick, so I will do it here.
No one reads these anyway, right?
After an all action display, Danny Rose deserves tribute! He scored the winner after contributing to the attack all day and while it may not have been the out of this world hit of "ON HIS PREMIER LEAGUE DEBUT", but it was pretty damn big.
So here is a song tribute to North London's Rose. It doesn't mention London, or really have much else to do with football, but it says the word "rose"!
And now for the "news":
Danny Rose repays Pochettino's trust| Daily Mail
Wouldn't it have been great if Danny was sitting outside of Mauricio's door last year rehearsing his speech like Luca Brasi before meeting Vito Corleone?
Mauricio-Nah, man, we don't talk about the title| NBC Sports
I don't know how much you all know about Argentinean culture, but if we do win this thing after all this Catholic repression Poche is displaying right now, I want to be invited to the celebratory cookout. It's going to be wild.
Jamie Redknapp thinks Saido Berahino is good and won't be a West Brom player long| The Sport Review
In solidarity with the readers, I did not read this article, but I assume it's pretty good. When has Jamie Redknapp ever let us down?
Roger Federer takes a shot at the Oscars| SB Nation Lookit
No, he wasn't making a point about equality in the film industry. Not that kind of shot.
