It's new kit season! With two international friendlies coming up during the international break next week, Nike released the new England national football team kits today and tapped a number of prominent football stars to model them.

Let's see: there's Wayne Rooney, as expected, along with Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, and Jordan Ibe. Women's football stars Steph Houghton and Toni Duggan are also modeling the new shirts. But who's that on the left beside Duggan? Is that... Josh ONOMAH?
Well, this is an awesome, if unexpected, development. Josh is a rising star at Tottenham Hotspur and has featured in a number of matches this season for Spurs, in the Europa League, domestic cups, as well as as an impact substitute in the league. But I have to be honest, despite him being a handsome man, it's a little surprising to see him one of five male footballers chosen to wear the new shirts. Not complaining, though!
Want your new England kits to be animated? Well, Joshy gets his own frame in a rotating animated .gif, too!

Now, people are already complaining about these new kits, especially after the incredibly underwhelming USA kits were leaked a couple of weeks ago. This seems to be a continuation of Nike's ouvre: find a crappy design and crank out variations of that design to nearly all the teams it represents. With Nike expected to take over for UnderArmor as Tottenham's kit designer with the 2017-18 season, I'm afraid this is probably what we can expect for Spurs, too.
Feel free to complain about the kits themselves in the comments.
