Most of the time the injury news that comes out of the international break is bad news: players who picked up knocks (or worse) while on duty with their countries. It's just the opposite for Tottenham Hotspur's Ben Davies: the BBC is reporting that Davies is fit and will very likely play for Wales in their friendly match against Ukraine in Kiev on Monday.
Davies didn't play for Wales last week in a draw against Northern Ireland, but apparently he will feature in some fashion for Chris Coleman's side.
We haven't seen Davies since he was subbed off in the first half of Spurs' loss to Dortmund at White Hart Lane a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully, dropping out of the Europa League has meant that him missing some time to recuperate hasn't impacted Spurs' regular fullback rotation. It appears that the knock he picked up against Dortmund wasn't that severe, and he'll definitely be available for Tottenham if needed when Spurs head to Anfield next Saturday.
