Let's make fun of our next opponent. My blog:

Good morning!

Faced with the prospect of of a nerve wracking match tomorrow, what better way to deal with those nerves than a little comic relief. Spurs are great, everyone knows that, but we have had certain historical tendencies that have given rise to memes and sayings that are meant to describe us. We all know them well.

It's not our memes I want to talk about, though. Over the last six or seven years, Liverpool have backslid and become a gold mine of jokes and banter fodder. Today I want us to talk about our favorites. Please feel free to fill in any that I may miss, and I will miss some, rest assured.

1. Steven Gerrard's slip

2. Get your own scouts, Spurs

3. Seventhpool

4. "Steady..."

5. Luis Suarez isn't racist

6. Robbie Keane's boyhood club

7. Klopp saves the Premier League

8. Liverpool should've signed Dele Alli

And now for the "news":

Mauricio tips Harry Kane for PFA Player of the Year| Express

Let's take this moment not to praise Harry--we do that often enough--but to laugh at reigning PFA POY Eden Hazard and Chelsea. Hazard can barely make it into the team during a year we are outpacing the West Enders by 20 points!

Mauricio isn't worried about Dele Alli handling pressure| Guardian

Also, this article mentions the relationship he has struck up with Harry Kane. Do other outlets not know about Eric Dier, and if they don't, do they even know to fear for their lives right now?

Klopp wants to sign our Twossa| Squawka

In addition to apparently not having their own scouts anymore, they seem to be making up for it by being linked to every player in European football.

And to round it all out, a gif.
