WATCH: official NBC highlights of Liverpool 1-1 Tottenham

A great match for the neutrals!

Tottenham Hotspur went to Anfield on Saturday to take on Liverpool and came away with a 1-1 draw in a highly entertaining match... if you're not a fan of either club.

Philippe Coutinho opened the scoring in the second half. After playing a one-two passing game with Daniel Sturridge, the Brazilian found some space in the box and buried a low shot past Hugo Lloris in the bottom right corner of the net. Minutes later, Harry Kane equalized on a play that featured two amazing bits of skill. Christian Eriksen got ahold of a long pass from midfield and was able to not only prevent it from going out for a goal kick but also flick it to Harry Kane in the box. Kane took a touch with his back to goal, spun, and buried a beauty of a shot past Liverpool keeper Simon Mignolet to level the score.

Both teams had ample opportunities to score late in the match but at the end it was honors even at Anfield; Spurs narrowed the gap on Leicester City to four points, but the Foxes play Southampton tomorrow and can up their lead to a near-insurmountable seven points with a win against the Saints.
