There are five Tottenham Hotspur players currently with Roy Hodgson's England team getting ready for this summer's European Championships, which will be held in France. Dele Alli is one of those players.
But while Alli hasn't taken the pitch for any meaningful competition for the past few weeks thanks to a three match ban for violent conduct, that doesn't mean that he's lost a step. And if this Vine of Alli released by the FA is any indication, he could be set for a pretty darned good Euros.
But that goal isn't the story here. The story is how Alli's bestie, Eric Dier, responded to this video on Twitter, referencing his incredible miss against Stoke City this spring:
@England @Dele_Alli about time he scored from that distance

OH SNAP! And because Dele Alli is Dele Alli, there's just no way he's going to let his life partner get away with that nonsense on social media, is he? NOPE.
@ericdier @England about time you said something funny

My goodness, these two. Heart emojis all day long.
