Euro 2016 has been a mixed bag for Spurs players so far. It got off to a great start with Eric Dier banging in a free kick to give England the lead over Russia. Unfortunately, a late equalizer dampened the joy of that.
There's also be the negative side of it with pundits calling for Harry Kane to be benched in favor of other strikers. Which did happen in the team's final group match when Kane and Dele Alli were both benched. The changes didn't help much as England played to a lackluster 0-0 draw with Slovakia to finish second in their group.
Alli is determined to make it back into the starting lineup and is doing whatever it takes to try and get on the score sheet during this tournament.
FA TV posted this funny video on their social media accounts of the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder scoring a sliding/diving header in a small-sided training match. Gary Cahill set up Alli for an easy finish and of course he put his stamp on it as only he can. What I'd pay to see him do that in an actual competitive match...
Hopefully he's able to win his spot back and help England make it far in the knockout stage.
