As England try to pick up the pieces of their shattered dreams, there comes the realization that time must go on. There is a summer to be had and now that most of the world's footballer's are done with the international stuff, maybe the market will pick up. In fact, things have gotten weird and wild the last two days.
The thing that always gets me about transfer rumors is how we want to believe they will come true. Seriously, how long do we need to watch this game, and how many windows must pass, to know things can go wrong at a moment's notice. There is a reason for the "nobody move" meme around here. A transfer is a fragile thing that we must treat more gently than the press treat Jose Mourinho.
So, if you're unhappy with Spurs window, just stop moving. Completely. Otherwise it was you who made it all turn to dust.
