Tottenham Hotspur finally have a new striker! If you missed the news, Spurs completed the signing of Vincent Janssen this morning from AZ Alkmaar of the Eredivisie.
I don't know about the rest of you, but when my club gets a new player my first instinct is to fire up the ole YouTube machine and watch endless highlight videos of the new signing. There are a wide variety of different goals in this highlight reel. The Eredivisie is known for being a high scoring league that sometimes inflates attacker's numbers, but some of the goals he scored would be impressive in any league in the world. He's a pure striker and should finally be the compliment that Harry Kane has needed for some time.
AZ Alkmaar and the Eredivisie have produced plenty of strikers in the past. Here's to hoping Janssen ends up more like Wilfried Bony and less like Jozy Altidore (*cries uncontrollably*).
