Italy vs Germany: this is must-see TV, folks.

Let’s just get right to it: there’s a European Championship quarterfinal happening today, and you’re going to watch it. Otherwise, why are you here?

Italy has been one of the more surprising teams of this tournament, and definitely one of the most fun to watch. The Azzuri, under outgoing manager Antonio Conte, have put on a tactical clinic and have bested teams they had probably no business beating considering the overall talent they have compared to previous Italy squads.

But now they’re running into a buzz-saw in Germany, one of the teams picked to win the whole thing in preseason projections. The Germans are stacked and have been playing very good football in this tournament. This should be a pretty fantastic matchup. A shame it has to happen in the quarterfinals.
