Tottenham Hotspur remain unbeaten in the 2016-17 season, but only barely. Liverpool controlled the match at White Hart Lane for long stretches and had many chances to extend their 1-0 lead in the first and second half. Spurs, however, managed to tighten up as the game went on and they started to get some of their own chances, before finally getting the equalizer through Danny Rose.
By the standards Spurs set last season, Tottenham have yet to really get going, but they’ve managed to play well to avoid defeat. With a few returns from injury and a bit more time training, Spurs should be clicking into high gear soon.
