Balague: Spurs "out of the equation" for Isco

It might be time to slow our roll on the Isco rumors. The latest from Spanish journo Guillem Balague suggests that Spurs are now out of the equation for Isco, who is considering departing Real Madrid in order to get more playing time during this upcoming season.

So, this is kind of a bummer. Isco was supposed to be our Rafael van der Vaart signing of this window, but it appears that this might not happen after all. Isco was supposedly considering two potential destinations, if he was considering leaving Real Madrid at all. Tottenham was one destination, but his old club Malaga was the other one.

Right now I haven't heard what Isco is planning to do, but it doesn't appear that he's going to be heading to White Hart Lane. I hope it's wrong or things change, but that's a bummer.

UPDATE: The Isco deal collapse has now been corroborated by Sky Sources, which, as always, understand.
