If you missed it, here’s the squad that Spurs have taken to Oslo for today’s pre-season friendly against Inter Milan:

Nacer Chadli, Victor Wanyama, Nabil Bentaleb, Jan Vertonghen, DeAndre Yedlin, Josh Onomah, and Kyle Walker-Peters are the main players not making the trip. As noted yesterday, we know, or can make very educated guesses, at why a few of these players are out:
- Jan is still recovering from his ankle injury.
- Wanyama had problems getting a visa.
- Chadli, Bentaleb, and Yedlin could all be on their way to new clubs.
- Onomah and KWP didn’t get breaks after this summer’s U-19 competition and so are probably being rested.
Given all that, what’s your preferred squad for Friday’s game? I’d like to see something close to full-strength, but with a few younger players being given a chance to play significant minutes as well. Again, I’m keen to see Harry Winks get minutes in midfield because I am still kinda terrified of what our plan in midfield is without Dembélé in the squad. I’m hoping that means Wanyama-Dier, but I’m worried it means Mason and Dier and... well, let’s just say Ryan Mason v Klopperpool scares me. I’m also hoping to have more occasion to use this GIF this season:
On to the links:
Both clubs in today’s friendly have undergone massive changes since they met in the 2010-11 Champions League.
