Harry Kane had a good day today. Not only did he finally get off the schnide by scoring his first goal of the 2016-17 season in a 4-0 rout of Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium, but it was also the 50th career Premier League goal of his career. And he’s only 23 years old.
Tottenham helped commemorate the occasion by tweeting comments from Kane after the match today.

Kane completed his 50th goal in a total of 90 Premier League matches, a pretty impressive feat. In fact, scoring 50 goals in 90 league matches would make Kane the 11th fastest premier league player ever to reach this milestone, ahead of Spurs legend Teddy Sheringham and just behind Robbie Fowler. At 23 years and 44 days old, Kane is also among the youngest ever to complete the feat: Robbie Fowler was the youngest player to score 50 at age 20 (and he did it in two fewer games), but Kane’s close to the top.
A great milestone for our talismanic striker! Congratulations on the goal, Harry -- may there be many, many more to come!
