Young Tottenham midfielder Will Miller appears to be settling into the second tier of English football nicely! The Spurs academy graduate is on loan until January at Championship debutants Burton Albion, and slotted into their starting lineup right away. This past Saturday he was an impact substitute for Burton against Wolverhampton, but poked home a last-gasp goal in the 94th minute to get the Brewers an away point at the Molineux.

Take a look at Miller’s goal in the video below, starting at about 1’34”.

Right place, right time, a great strike, and a genuinely delightful celebration. He even got a hug from manager Nigel Clough!

Miller was one of the nice surprises in Tottenham’s preseason, coming more or less out of nowhere in Spurs’ two matches in Australia and putting in good shifts at left back and midfield. It’s too soon to say yet whether the 20-year old might have a future with the Tottenham first team, but he’s certainly already shown that he’s capable of playing well in the Championship!
