Spurs day? Spurs day.

Good morning and Happy Spurs Day!

Is there anything quite as glorious as a day spent watching our fourth team line up against a lower tier side for a cup? No seriously, I'm not being sarcastic. There is something great about these dates on the fixture list, a type of possibility and hope that rarely happens during the grind of a Premier League campaign.

Just think back to a couple years ago when Ryan Mason gave us all hope after his 25 yard winner against Nottingham Forest. Forget all the polarization to follow, but remember what it was like to think "wow, could Mason really be what we need?" I think those discussions, and that exact type of hope, are what keep me coming back for more despite all the heartache and silliness.

Enjoy the match today, and let your dreamer's mind wander to what the future may hold.

(Sidenote: what if he is though?!??)

A nice interview with Justin Edinburgh| Daily Mail

After reading this, I only want 3-1. Seems a pleasant man.

Cameron Carter-Vickers can be "one of the best in England"| Hertfordshire Mercury

Mauricio failed to mention if this means one of England's best, or best in England, because, well...

And so Skipjack can breathe easy. You didn't know he supported Juve? Wow, you should probably @ him about it--I'm sure he'd love to discuss all things Old Lady.
