It didn’t take long after Spurs’ 5-0 dismantling of Gillingham to find Tottenham’s next opponent. Tottenham Hotspur will have a much tastier, but more difficult, match up in the fourth round of the EFL Cup, as they will travel to Liverpool to take on the Reds in the next round.
We've been drawn at away to Liverpool in the fourth round of the #EFLCup. Ties to be played week commencing 24 October. #COYS

Liverpool got here by virtue of a 3-0 win at Derby County yesterday. Tottenham and Liverpool have already played once this season, a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane in week three. Both teams are playing well and are direct competitors for the Premier League, but it will be interesting to see if either or both teams rotate their squads for their match on October 24.
In other EFL Cup draw news, we have another Manchester derby in the next round as United will host City. In fact, very few Premier League teams got what you’d call a favorable draw. The full draw of the Round of 16 is below.
