Tottenham Hotspur are currently enjoying a nice run of success in the 2016/17 season. Our beloved Lilywhites sit second on the table in the English Premier League, just four points behind Sunday’s opponent, Manchester City. Spurs also collected three points on the road against CSKA Moscow thanks to a gritty 1-0 victory. While the squad prepares for a critical matchup on Sunday, the club wants to remind all of us that the TV money is being used for new contracts yet again.
The club confirmed via Twitter that center back Cameron Carter-Vickers has hopped on the new contract train, good through the 2019 season.

The American U-23 International becomes the eighth Tottenham player to receive a new deal since the summer. The 18-year-old Tottenham Academy graduate has been a mainstay in Pochettino’s 18 man squad this season, finding himself on the bench and getting a start against Gillingham in the EFL Cup last week.
Spurs promised last season that the new TV money was going to be used to help pay off the stadium and reward the players who have been part of the growth of Tottenham Hotspur. Carter-Vickers’ future is about as bright as it gets, as he’s obviously rated by Mauricio Pochettino and has been one of the prospects we’ve all been excited about the past few years.
Congratulations to Cameron on his new deal!
