He’s one of our own! Harry Kane scored a brace against a hapless Watford side, his tenth in the Premier League and 12th in all competitions. With those two goals, Kane has now equalled Arsenal legend Thierry Henry in number of goal scored in his opening 100 Premier League games.

Henry went on to score 175 goals for Arsenal in an 8 year career with the Gunners. It’s an impressive feat, but Kane looks like he could be every bit as good for Tottenham as Henry was for Arsenal. 59 goals in 100 matches is a fantastic statistic, but nowhere near the heroics of Alan Shearer, who scored an astounding 79 league goals in his first 100 matches.
Spurs conceded a derpy late goal courtesy of former Tottenham player Younes Kaboul, but it’s still the second straight 4-1 road win for Tottenham against decent league competition. Spurs are firing on all cylinders at the moment and will take a four game winning streak into Wednesday’s crucial home match against Chelsea.
The win takes Spurs to third in the table before Arsenal’s match against Crystal Palace this afternoon.
