Tottenham Hotspur’s big match this weekend is their FA Cup tie against League Two side Wycombe Wanderers at White Hart Lane on Saturday. As you can imagine, there aren’t enough networks to cover every FA Cup match, and one of the biggest questions has been whether Spurs fans will be able to watch the match at all.
The good news is, if you’re an American Spurs fan, the game will be televised and some will be able to see Adebayo Akinfenwa in all his glory on the big screen. According to livesoccertv.com, Tottenham vs. Wycombe will be televised on Fox Soccer Plus, and available for streaming on the premium service FoxSoccer2Go. To the best of my knowledge, it will NOT be streamed on Fox Sports Go.
However, considering Fox Soccer Plus is limited to the most premium of premium cable packages, that’s going to make it difficult for most fans to be able to view the match, unless they find a sports bar or pub.
If you’re an England supporter, you’re pretty much out of luck. The FA has already announced which games will be televised, and they’re going with Liverpool vs. Wolverhampton, and Southampton vs. Arsenal, both on BT Sport 2.
We’ll keep you updated if we hear of any changes. There will hopefully be radio streams, and if nothing else we’ll embed a refreshing Twitter feed into the match thread so you can follow along by text.
