Tottenham Hotspur have had a pretty good month and are reaping the benefits by having three of its members nominated for December Premier League awards.

Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli were both among the finalists for Premier League Player of the Month for December. Spurs’ attacking midfield duo were nominated along with Chelsea’s Diego Costa and Gary Cahill, and Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Alli scored three goals in December (remember, his braces against Watford and Chelsea came in January), while Eriksen scored four goals and netted two assists in the same span.

Tottenham’s manager was also recognized! Mauricio Pochettino was named as a finalist for the Premier League Manager of the Month award for the month of December. He’s up against Chelsea’s Antonio Conte, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, and Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho. This is Pochettino’s second Manager of the Month nomination of the season; he was nominated in September but lost the award to Jurgen Klopp.

Pochettino led Spurs to four wins and a loss in five league matches in December, but he’s likely going to lose to Antonio Conte, whose Chelsea side won all six matches it played amidst a EPL-tying 13-match win streak.

New this year, fans are able to vote for who they think deserves the Player and Manager of the Month awards and those votes have an influence on who wins. So have a vote via the links in the tweets.
