South Korea and Colombia had both already qualified for World Cup 2018 in Russia next summer, so there wasn’t a lot at stake in this morning’s international friendly match in Suwon. Still, it’s a match that features two Tottenham teammates in Son Heung-Min and Davinson Sanchez.
And of the two, Sonny had a fantastic match. Son scored two goals to lift Korea to a 2-1 win over the Colombians. Here they are!

The first goal is especially good, as Sonny gets a deflected cross, evades two defenders, and then nutmegs a dude into the back of the net. There were rumors that the unfortunate nutmeg victim was Sanchez, but it’s actually Cristián Zapata, who scored the only goal of the game for Colombia.
Sonny’s second goal probably has more to do with goalkeeping than it does with his shot, as the keeper got a hand to his long-range blast but wasn’t able to keep it out of the net.
Korea’s next match is in four days as they host Serbia. Colombia will play at China on the same date.
