Unsurprising news is unsurprising.

Team news is out for Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League match against Dortmund at the Signal Iduna tomorrow evening, and it’s the kind we expected. No new surprises or shocks here -- the only two players who are not available for selection are Toby Alderweireld and Victor Wanyama.

In case you’re wondering, Danny Rose IS in fact on the plane to Germany. He’s kind of hard to see but I think you get a glimpse of him under a yellow hat and snood in this video released by Spurs on Monday evening:

Spurs have already qualified out of their Champions League group, but forgive them if they’re greedy — a win over Dortmund tomorrow means they’ll CLINCH their group and go into the first knock-out round against (theoretically) an easier opponent. It’s for that reason why I think we’ll see a slightly rotated, but still very strong Tottenham side take the pitch tomorrow.

Dortmund are a club that are floundering a bit under Peter Bosz this season. They have just two points from their Champions League matches this season — both draws against APOEL — and are a disappointing fifth in the Bundesliga right now, with three wins and two losses at home.

That said, the Westfalenstadion and their infamous Yellow Wall provide an intense atmosphere, and if Dortmund want to have any chance of getting out of the group, they’ll need a win against Spurs. We saw that they are a good side in the first match at Wembley Stadium, and I expect nothing less than a very difficult match in Germany tomorrow.
