We talk a lot about Tottenham Hotspur giving chances to academy products. We see it on the pitch every week with player like Harry Kane & Harry Winks, and up-and-comers like Kyle Walker-Peters, Josh Onomah, and Cameron Carter-Vickers.
Add another one to the list! Spurs announced today that midfielder Anthony Georgiou has signed his first professional contract with Spurs.

Georgiou, 20, was included on the pre-season tour squad to the United States this summer, and has apparently impressed Mauricio Pochettino. He’s been a regular in the U23s and development squad this summer. A native of Cyprus, he’s made a few first team benches this season, and made his full Tottenham Hotspur debut during Spurs’ 3-0 win over APOEL in the Champions League back in September.
No word on his salary (which is expected), but his contract goes until 2020. Congratulations, Anthony!
