Tottenham Hotspur will know its next Champions League opponent in a matter of hours. The Round of 16 will be drawn today in Lyon, Switzerland at noon local time, 11 a.m. in England, and (gaaaak) 6 a.m. in USA.
Spurs qualified by taking one of the hardest roads possible: they took four points each from Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the so-called “Group of Death” to finish top of their group and as a seeded team in the draw.
The fixtures haven’t been decided yet, but the first round of matches will be played on February 13/14, and February 20/21, 2018.

Who Can Tottenham Hotspur Draw?
Tottenham can draw any of the teams that finished second in their group EXCEPT Chelsea (same league) or Real Madrid (were part of Tottenham’s qualifying group). That leaves them with the following possibilities:
- Basel
- Bayern Munich
- Juventus
- Sevilla
- Shakhtar Donetsk
- Porto
Obviously, Spurs would be thrilled with Basel or Sevilla. Shakhtar would be a decent draw, but with a wicked amount of travel. Porto is pretty solid, and experienced. Bayern and Juventus are scary.
Here’s the full list of teams.
