Happy Monday, Spurs fans! Who has two thumbs and forgot that Pardeep is out of town today? THIS GUY. Oh well. At least we had the Champions League draw to distract us from the fact that there’s no daily links thread.

I’m gonna bring back the theme of the day for one day only, and we’re gonna do some jazz, folks. This is Ahmad Jamal, one of my favorite jazz pianists, doing an old standard, but maybe in a way that you’ve never heard before. This is the old jazz ballad “You Go To My Head,” recorded in 1961, but played at a fast tempo that I’ve rarely heard it ever performed. I like it better this way.
