Another big contract day for Tottenham. After extending Harry Winks earlier today, Tottenham has announced the signing of Kyle Walker-Peters to new contract. The contract runs to 2019 and there is no news how much it will be or if there are any buyout clauses involved.

KWP is a 19 year old fullback that currently plays with our U21’s. He hasn’t gotten many looks with the first team, but is a very promising prospect for the future. He has previously gotten called up to multiple English National Youth Teams. With some doubt about the performance of our back-up fullbacks this year, KWP could become an important member of the team as soon as next season. KWP is just another example of Spurs keeping on key academy products for the long term. Also it’s going to be crazy if he’s on the field with Kyle Walker at the same time.

Happy you’re staying aboard, KWP!
