Tottenham Hotspur just scored their first goal from open play since the LAST time they played in the FA Cup. Harry Kane latched on to a great feed from Christian Eriksen on the right flank and one-touched the ball into the back of the net to put Spurs up 1-0 over Fulham in the Fifth Round of the FA Cup.
The goal is the first Tottenham Hotspur goal from open play in four games, and the first since Spurs scored a penalty kick against Middlesbrough two weeks ago. It’s been a rough period of offensive production for Tottenham the past few matches, but things seem to be turning around for the men in lilywhte here at Craven Cottage.
Spurs are hoping to enter into a FA Cup quarterfinals that already features Millwall and non-league Lincoln City. It’s the Magic of the Cup, and apparently Harry Kane’s got some of it!
