Tottenham Hotspur took a nervy 1-0 lead into halftime of their FA Cup fifth round match against Fulham, despite enjoying 61% of possession and dominating the entirety of the first half. While they looked great, they were only up by a goal when they probably should’ve scored at least two.
But it didn’t take long in the second half before Harry Kane was able to double Spurs’ lead.
What a ball from Eriksen into the box, and what a finish from Kane! But equally impressive was the ball from the OTHER Harry, Harry Winks, to feed Kieran Trippier on the right side. Wonderful stuff from the young Spurs midfielder.
Spurs now have a 2-0 lead over Fulham at Craven Cottage and look good for their lead. Barring an utter collapse, Spurs look like they’re on their way to the quarterfinals of the FA Cup. COYS!
