Harry Kane has given Tottenham Hotspur a 1-0 lead over Stoke City just 13 minutes into their Premier League match. His 20th goal in all competitions this season puts Spurs into the lead at White Hart Lane after midweek disappointment in the Europa League Round of 32 against Gent.
There wasn’t much to the goal, Stoke defender Ryan Shawcross failed to clear the ball, it ended up right at Kane’s feet and he stroked home his finish for the early lead. They had a similar start on Thursday. Hopefully they can protect the goal advantage a little better today.
This was also Harry Kane’s 100th career club goal in his career, combined with his Spurs goals and all of his strikes while on loan.
