Harry Kane wins February Premier League Player of the Month

Kane is the second Tottenham player in a row to win the Premier League’s monthly award.

Harry Kane has won another monthly award for Tottenham Hotspur. The Premier League announced today via social media that Kane took home the EA SPORTS Premier League Player of the Month award for the month of February.

Kane has been on a run of absolutely scintillating form lately, and took home the award after scoring four league goals in three matches, and seven in all competitions in the month of February. He beat Gabriel Jesus, David Silva, Romelu Lukaku, Gareth McAuley, and Eldin Jakupovic for the award.

Kane is the second straight Tottenham player to win a Player of the Month award; Dele Alli won the award for January. It’s the fourth Player of the Month award for Kane in his career.

Spurs don’t play in the Premier League for another week but will host League One side Millwall in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup this Sunday. Spurs’ next league match is Sunday, March 19 when they host Southampton, former club of Spurs players Toby Alderweireld, Victor Wanyama, and manager Mauricio Pochettino.
