Tottenham Hotspur released team news and injury updates ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup quarterfinal match against Millwall, and the news is pretty much what you’d expect. The only two players who are not available for selection continue to be Danny Rose, who remains out with a knee injury, and Erik Lamela.
But there’s good news on the Danny Rose front! Tottenham’s injury news release on its website said that Rose’s recovery is going well and that he’s expected back in April. Ben Davies, who recently signed a new contract extension with the club, will continue to start at left back in his place.
However, there’s still no real update on Erik Lamela, who has been dogged by a pernicious hip injury that has kept him sidelined for months. Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino said that he really has no idea when we might see Lamela back on the pitch for Tottenham.
#thfc Pochettino still can't give timeframe on Lamela: "I can't say one week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, one month or maybe next season, I dont know"

#thfc Pochettino: "Sometimes he’s involved from the beginning in the warm-up with the team. Sometimes he feels pain and we change the plan."

Well, that’s not great.
With no European competition and no league matches until next weekend, Spurs are expected to field a full strength side against Millwall in the FA Cup match at White Hart Lane this Sunday. Millwall have knocked off three Premier League clubs to make the quarterfinals, beating Bournemouth, Watford, and Leicester City, but all against weakened sides and all at home.
