While the Tottenham Hotspur senior men’s team was earning a nervy 3-2 win over Everton in the Premier League, Spurs Ladies were doing what they do best: winning convincingly. The Ladies thumped Women’s Premier League rivals Cardiff City 3-0 on Sunday to clinch their second consecutive trip to the FA Women’s Premier League Cup finals.

Tottenham got goals from Wendy Martin, Leah Rawle, and Nikita Whinnett, and keeper Tori-Anne Wayne made a number of key stops as Spurs continue their historically good season.
Cardiff are a solid team; Spurs beat them in the WPL Cup finals 2-1 in extra time last season, and are one of Spurs’ main rivals in the WPL Southern Division. Spurs now set up yet another cup final against rivals Charlton Athletic Women’s FC, who defeated Blackburn Rovers Ladies this afternoon 4-3 in extra time in the other semifinal. Spurs will also face Charlton in the Boux Avenue Cup final on Wednesday, April 5.
