Today we have the first batch of second leg matches from the Champions League round of 16. An EPL team will be in action as Arsenal host Bayern, but given Bayern’s 5-1 aggregate lead and the form Arsenal is in now... well, LOL. The more intriguing match features the Fightin’ Chiriches...es? taking on Real Madrid in Napoli. If the Italian side can win 2-0, they would advance.
That said, it’s hard to see them managing that, even against an under-manned that could be without Gareth Bale, who is questionable for today’s game. There is simply too much firepower in this Madrid side. By day’s end, my guess is Bayern and Madrid will have both booked their trip to the last eight.
