The chase is on.

So let’s be clear: Our odds of chasing down Chelsea are still very long. But damn if it doesn’t feel good to say we’re keeping pace with them in the title race. And that was a hell of a fun game on Saturday, wasn’t it? I missed part of the first half because I fell asleep. (I was up at 3:30 to drive my wife to the airport in Omaha an hour away from us and got home shortly before kickoff.) But I saw Dele’s goal and Sonny’s first. (I apparently dozed off for Eric’s goal.) Even though no one else dropped point this weekend, how good does it feel to have a team like this that goes out on the field, controls the game, bosses an opponent they ought to beat, and wins by a comfortable margin?

Anyway, that’s all I have. This was just a Fun Weekend. Let’s keep it up with Bournemouth this coming weekend, eh?
