Good morning, Carty Free Crüe. I am overwhelmed.
It’s difficult for me to put into words what yesterday was like for me, and with a free day in London on Easter Sunday I’m not even going to try. That will come later after I have a chance to process everything I’ve seen and experienced on a fantastic Saturday in London.
But let me give a very fast shout-out to Ted Flambe, Incredeleble Tekkers, and all of the fantastic Cartilage Free people I met and spent the day with yesterday — you are all incredible humans and I am privileged to know you.
There’s more football to be watched today, and this is your open thread. The big match is, of course, Chelsea’s trip to Old Trafford. If United can somehow take points off of Chelsea today, the gap between Tottenham and Chelsea shrinks again, and wouldn’t that be something?
I’m off to be a dumb American tourist for a day, and I can’t wait. (It’s also Aaron Lennon’s birthday!)
