For the 11th time this season, Spurs conceded the opening goal in yesterday’s match. For the ninth time, they managed to avoid defeat when doing so.
This was definitely one of the more surprising of the 11 fixtures as Spurs fought back with three late goals to not only rescue a draw, but to actually win the match. It also made me wonder: Which current players in the squad do you most trust to make a real go at a comeback in such situations?
I’d also be up for discussing any other aspect of the game, but this is one of the most interesting to me. What goes into making a good comeback player? How do Spurs seem to have so many of them? Curious to what you all think!
