The case for rooting for Real Madrid today: Luka and Gareth are chasing a third Champions League winner’s medal.

The case for rooting for Atletico today: Atletico winning the Champions League bumps them into pot 1 and bumps us up a spot closer to pot 2, making it less likely that we get a Group of Death draw this fall.

Which one motivates you more? For me, I’m tired of Real winning, have a bit of a man crush on Simeone, and would like us to not have some nightmare draw next season that includes something stupid like Juventus and Atletico or Bayern and Barcelona. What do you think?
