Friday Hoddle of Coffee: West Ham Day, May 5, 2017

Alas, Harry Winks is still injured. But I have two memories from our home clash with West Ham earlier this season: First, we were shit most of the game. Second, Winksy scored and we pulled off a ridiculous late win we probably didn’t deserve.

Of the four games remaining in the season, this is the only round where Spurs play before Chelsea. So while we will be chasing during match days 36 and 37 to match or better Chelsea’s result from their earlier fixture, this is the one round left where we can still put the pressure on them.

Unfortunately, in this case the match Chelsea has waiting for them after our fixture is a home date with Middlesborough sooooo. Don’t expect much.

Even so, a win today lifts us to one point behind Chelsea. Should Boro somehow manage another dumb draw on Monday, we would head into match day 36 two points off the league leaders. Let’s go.
