You won’t be at all surprised by what Oscar did this weekend.

It’s not really a secret that, even by Chelsea standards, Brazilian playmaker Oscar was pretty obnoxious, right? He had mastered the normal Brazilian diving thing, but he also had this secret dirty streak that was bad without any of the almost comically bad stuff that some of our guys have—Jan pantsing a guy, for example.

So this isn’t really surprising at all, is it?

Here’s the story:

Just before the half-time whistle, Hulk nutmegged one defender and looked to get past another as a frustrated Oscar smashed the ball toward Li Tixiang. The ball ricocheted off the Chinese defender but fell back to the Brazilian who once again booted the ball, sending it into another Guangzhou R&F player.

That started off a round of pushing and shoving that led to a full-on fight between members of both teams and saw Li and Shanhai SIPG's Fu Huan given their marching orders.

Oscar himself escaped punishment because WHO ARE WE KIDDING OF COURSE HE DID.

On a slightly more serious note, sorry for getting this up late. We celebrated Father’s Day in the US yesterday and it was a pretty full day for me and once I got home I got distracted with other things when I suddenly realized I hadn’t provided y’all with the daily Hoddle. So I’m sorry for that.
